Stage 10- Implementation to Celebration
Stage 10 - Implementation to Celebration
HONOURING GROWTH
“What a huge moment to be here. You have committed to the work and, like all who undertake endurance challenges, you are more now than what you were when you started your LIONS journey. So, today, we really celebrate.”
–Tammy Hamawi
This is our last full-day session and the end of the first 10 stages of the LIONS Program. We mark this occasion with a ceremony in which you’re presented with an Implementation Report—a record of your journey, your key moments of change, your vision, and your personalised prescription to take this self-growth journey beyond the structure of our program and continue in your evolution.
In this stage of LIONS program, we focus on celebrating your growth and achievements over the past year. Why celebrate? High achievers like you tend to focus intensely on reaching your goals—and then, when you reach those goals, you tend to immediately set new goals without stopping to reflect on and enjoy all you have achieved. This constant push to focus on “What still needs to be done?” can very often leave you feeling drained and dissatisfied.
It’s extremely meaningful and helpful to pause and reflect on what you have achieved before pushing on to the next challenge. Celebrating and enjoying our successes causes real chemical changes in our bodies. It releases endorphins into our bloodstream, which makes us feel good and reinforces the joyfulness of reaching a goal. Celebration also makes us more inclined to keep setting new goals—but in a purposeful, positive way, as our body, mind, and emotions can now support us in the goal-setting process.
Celebration is also a key element in building resilience and self-belief. As leaders, we need to appreciate where we have grown and recognise the distance that we have travelled, so we can “fill the tank” of persistence and affirmation. We also need to enjoy celebrating and realise that the celebration in itself is an achievement.
In this stage, you will receive a comprehensive Implementation Report, which will serve as a record of all the ways you have grown over the past year. By looking back and celebrating the milestones you’ve passed during your LIONS journey, you’ll become more resilient, purposeful, and positive.
Correctly done, celebration not only helps you recognise how far you have come and acknowledge what you have achieved, but it also sets you up for greater success and motivation in your future pursuits.

Overview: IMPLEMENTATION TO CELEBRATION
This final stage of the core LIONS program is all about celebrating. Proper celebration is an essential ritual that is too frequently overlooked in our fast-paced world. People tend to work hard towards a goal and then go straight on to the next goal without taking the time to really congratulate themselves for what they have achieved. This tendency leads to exhaustion, dissatisfaction, and eventually burnout.
That’s why in this stage we focus on remembering where you started from and relishing all you have accomplished. We’ll honour you for having the courage and commitment, as an already-established leader, to transform yourself in such profound ways.
In Stage 10, you’ll also gain access to an Implementation Report, which contains a detailed record for your journey as well as your prescriptions to continue moving forward in your self-development journey.
Although you may find it tempting in this stage to engage in more goal-setting or other forward-looking pursuits, it’s deliberate that in this stage we focus solely on celebration.
Too often, we announce an intent to do one thing, but then immediately undermine that intent with our actions. For example, suppose you make a resolution to become more mindful and calm, but then immediately stress yourself out by fretting over how little meditation you are able to get done each day. In your enthusiasm to reach your goal, you are actually undermining your goal. Similarly, if you announce an intention to celebrate, but then spend most of your time looking forward to how much more you’ll accomplish in the future, you have undermined your initial joyful intent.
So, in this stage, when we focus solely on celebration, we are making sure that our actions closely align with the spirit of our intent.
